Ideas For Arms

Our second revel was a May Day event, and I note that it went from 8 a.m. to noon. We're so used to holding either all-day events or evening events now, it's odd to think of one in that time frame. Again, this flier has seen better days in the over 25 years it's been in my files.

2nd Revel Flier

Jerilyn held it at her mother's house, where we figured we could do things in the back yard. However, it poured rain, so we ended up indoors. Since most of the planned events, like the maypole, got rained out, we ended up Blind Man's Bluff.

We believe that's Charles of Galway in the foreground; Jerilyn of Vert Silva is in the background. Leah of Sherwood, Charles of Galway, and Sorcha O'Melachlin.
Thorad, Charles and Elaine
Ferelith and ?
Thorad son of Bjorg holding one of his children, Charles of Galway (blindfolded), and Elaine of the Lion's Tale. Sorcha O'Melachlin and someone I recognize but whose name I don't remember.

Meistres Rhonwen welcomes others who were there in the early days adding their reminiscences--after over 25 years, her memory is a bit faulty, and much information has disappeared in the fog. E-mail her at E-mail her at [email protected].
